The Toyota Cares Warranty which comes standard with all new Toyota models is a literal and apt representation about how much the Japanese automaker values its customers.
But, did you know that Toyota is also a big proponent of philanthropic efforts? It's true, and in addition to its many programs, including "100 Cars for Good" and countless donations, Toyota has recently implemented a new initiative that not only gives back to a deserving organization (the Boys & Girls Clubs of America) but it also, concurrently, is doing its part to help the environment.
You see, Toyota Financial Services (TFS) has agreed to donate five dollars to the Boys and Girls Clubs each time one of its customers changes over to paperless billing. This is all part of the larger, "GoGreen" campaign set forth by the automaker.
When Toyota first came up with the idea, it projected that around 20,000 or so drivers would sign up for the e-billing service which would lead to a donation of around $100,000. But, as it turns out, the donation has resulted in an amount two times the anticipated original: $200,000.
For all the Toyota drivers in the Redding area, Lithia Toyota of Redding encourages you to sign up for paperless billing. Not only will your switch help preserve the environment, but you'll also be helping a great program support children in need.
And, remember, to keep up to date with the latest in Toyota's philanthropic efforts, we invite you to subscribe, via your RSS feed, to the Lithia Toyota of Redding blog.
